8. Conditions of play, Time of kick-off, Arrangement for Fixture, Completion of Fixture, Postponements and Penalties, Substitutes

(a) Fixtures shall be scheduled to be played on the dates as arranged by the Competition Secretary, on the ground of the Club first drawn. Times of kick-off shall be 30 minutes earlier than those stated in League Rule 10 paragraph (b), or 1.45 pm, whichever is the later, with similar penalties. Notification of any postponement shall be made by telephone and then submitted, in writing, by BOTH teams, to reach the Competition Secretary no later than THREE days after the fixture date, or in default any Club shall be fined £5.

(b) The duration of each match shall be two periods of 45 minutes. The half time interval shall be 5 minutes duration, which can only be altered with the consent of the match Referee. In the event of the scores still being level after 90 minutes of play, a further 15 minutes each way shall be played. If, at the end of this time, the scores are still level the match to be resolved by the taking of kicks from the penalty mark, in accordance with the conditions laid down by the decision of the International Board on 27th June 1970.

(c) In the event of the ground of the Club scheduled to play as the Home team (in either an original, or any type of replayed fixture), not being available for use, or subsequently becoming unavailable or unfit for play, on or before the date arranged, the Club must contact the League Assistant Secretary immediately.  The League Assistant Secretary will then reverse the fixture, so that the Club scheduled to be the Away side becomes the home side.  If this is not possible, the Assistant Secretary will designate a neutral venue at which the game shall be played. Clubs failing to notify the League Assistant Secretary sufficiently early to enable the match to be played elsewhere shall be fined £15 & expelled from the relevant section of the competition. Fixtures postponed too late for this arrangement to be carried out shall be played on a date as arranged by the Competition Secretary on the ground of the Club where it was scheduled to be played, unless the Management Committee decide otherwise.

(d) Any Club failing to fulfil its fixtures at the appointed time shall be expelled from the Competition and be fined a sum of £l5, in the Senior Section, £15 in the Junior Section and £15 in the Minor Section of the competition, unless special permission is granted by the Management Committee.

(e) For substitutes and teams playing short see League Rule 10.

(f) The dates of the Semi-Finals and Finals and ALL OTHER ARRANGEMENTS in connection with these matches shall be made by the Management Committee. Final ties shall be played in Cheltenham unless otherwise ordered.

(g) Notice of the Draw shall be sent to each Club engaged, and such notice must be acknowledged within 3 days to the Assistant Secretary, or a fine of £5 shall be imposed.

(h) For all Semi-Final and Final fixtures team squads shall be submitted to the opposition and the Registration Secretary at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled time of Kick-off, failing which a fine of £5 shall be imposed. Any queries concerning eligibility of players shall be lodged with the Management Committee member on duty, prior to the commencement of the game.
