Winchcombe Town made sure of their first Cheltenham League Championship since 1972 when they defeated Shipton Oliffe 5-0 at home this afternoon.

Going into the game knowing that they needed just a point to secure their first League title in 36 years, Winchcombe Town accomplished their task with fine style to cap an excellent season, in which they have finally managed to eclipse the runners-up spots that have been achieved for the last two seasons.
