• 02/04/2008 - Junior & Minor Charity Cup Semi Finals

FC Barometrics booked themselves a place in the Minor Charity Cup Final with a 2-1 win over Star FC III this evening, courtesy of a winning goal that came just three seconds before the end of normal time but Tewkesbury Rovers and Gaffers will have to do it all again next week after their Junior Cup Semi Final was abandoned at the end of the first period of extra time because of failing light with the score locked at 3-3.

FC Barometrics fell behind after 15 minutes but hit back just after the break to reach the Minor Cup Final, which will be played at Petersfield Stadium on Tuesday, April 29th. Tewkesbury Rovers, meanwhile, surrendered a 2-0 half time lead in their match against Gaffers and found themselves 3-2 down in the first period of extra time, before pulling the game back level once again just before it was abandoned. The two sides will now meet again next Wednesday, at the Newlands at the same time as the other two semi finals are being played.
