• 21/02/2008 - Senior Charity Cup Semi Final Tonight

A crowd of over 100 saw second Division Leaders Whaddon United overcome Division One table toppers Newton FC last night to reach the club's first ever Senior Charity Cup Final.

A goal in each half on a cold and blustery evening at Petersfield Stadium was enough to give the underdogs a 2-0 victory and send them through to the final. They will now have to wait a further fortnight to see who their opponents will be, as the second Semi Final, at Bishops Cleeve's Kayte Lane ground, will be played on Thursday, March 6th between FC Barometrics and Winchcombe Town
