1. Affiliation Numbers

All clubs are reminded that they must forward details of their GFA Affiliation Number to the League's General Secretary by August 31st at the latest. 2 Club Accounts

Clubs are also reminded that they must send a copy of their accounts to the League Secretary in advance of their first fixture of the season.

3 Handbooks

The 2006-2007 handbook is currently being printed and will be available in about one weeks time. One copy of the handbook per club will be posted to each Club's Secretary as soon as they become available. The remaining allocation of Handbooks will be distributed at the Clubs Meeting, which will be held at the Victory Club on September 27th. However, if your club requires their full allocation in advance of this date, please contact the League Secretary to arrange a mutually convenient time for the extra handbooks to be collected.
The League Website will be updated as soon as possible to reflect the details contained within the new handbook.

4 Fixtures

All fixtures, both for all divisions of the League and the Charities Cup Competitions, can be viewed via the Cheltenham League section of the FA's Full Time facility. The League's Assistant Secretary, John Hunt, is responsible for the maintenance and administration of the fixtures throughout the season and all queries, acknowledgements and requests for amendments to fixtures should be directed to John in the first instance.

5 Smiths Athletic FC

Please also note Smiths Athletic have moved from Newlands Park, their home for the last 66 years, and that all their sides will now play their home matches at the Dowty Rotol Sports Ground in Staverton. Smiths Athletic have teams in Divisions 2, 3 and 4 of the Cheltenham League

6 Hatherley Rangers FC

Please also note that Hatherley Rangers have decided to leave the Royal Agricultural College in Cirencester after a 2 year stay and that they will now be playing their home matches at Newlands Park, Bishops Cleeve.

7 St Marks CA FC

Following the failure of St Marks CA FC to complete their fixtures at the end of last season, the club were excluded from the constitution of the League for season 2006/2007, in accordance with the stipulations of League Rule 17(d). This constitution was ratified at the Annual General Meeting of the League, which was held on June 7th. As a consequence of the fact that St Marks CA FC still owe the League a significant sum of money, the League has not been accepting the registration for the 2006/2007 season of any players who were registered with St Marks at the end of last season. However, it has now been agreed that, in accordance with League Rule 14(d), the registration of any player registered with St Marks last season will be accepted for the new campaign so long as they have discharged their share of the clubs debt. This amounts to £5 per person and this must be paid to Les Fisher, the League's treasurer, by any player wishing to be registered for the new season before that individuals registration will be accepted by the League.

8 General Secretary on Holiday

The General Secretary will be on holiday from August 9th to August 23rd. During this time, the first point of contact should be Les Fisher, the League's Treasurer, or Gordon Cook, the League's Chairman.

9 New Mobile Phone Number

Terry Onions, the League's Registration Secretary, has a new mobile telephone number. This is 07727 295816
