2) FA Cup Final Tickets

Clubs are reminded that, if they want to make application to the League to be included in this year's draw for FA Cup Final tickets, they must contact the League Secretary by March 1st to register their interest.

3) Entry Forms

All clubs should, by now, have received their application forms for the 2006-2007 season, along with the declaration form that the Chairman and Secretary of each club are asked to sign every year. These were included in the envelopes that were handed out to club delegates at the last Clubs meeting, on January 25th, 2006. The envelopes that were not collected at the clubs meeting were posted to member clubs
If your club is not in receipt of these two forms, please contact the League Secretary, Nick Oram, and ask that copies be sent to you. These forms, fully completed, must be returned to the League Secretary by March 31st at the latest otherwise your club will be in breach of League Rule 14a. The fine associated with this is £25 so please ensure that you return your form on time!

4 Warden Hill United withdraw from the League

Please note that Warden Hill United tended their resignation from the League at the last Management Committee meeting, which was held after the Clubs Meeting on Wednesday, 25th January. Reluctantly, the League accepted the club's resignation and their record has now been expunged from Division One.

5 Referees Cards

It is very disappointing that the League is still being obliged to fine so many clubs for transgressions of rule 13(j), which relates to the requirement of clubs to send the Official Referees Card and both team's teamsheets to the League Results Secretary following each home match played. This rule has now been in force for 6 months and, whilst many clubs have experienced no problems with compliance, some are still being fined on a regular basis. In order to attempt to alleviate some of the problems that were being experienced, the League has now provided each club with more than enough envelopes to cover the remaining home matches this season. These envelopes were pre-printed with the name and address of the League Results Secretary on the front and a reminder of the documents that needed to be enclosed in the envelope on the back. The League needs the information provided by the cards and sheets in order to safeguard the integrity of the competition and is still looking into measures to ensure greater compliance to the requirements of this rule next season. In the meantime, please make sure that your club does not incur unnecessary fines by retrieving the Referee's card from the Referee when you pay him after each home match, putting this card into one of the envelopes provided along with the teamsheets from the teams involved in the match, affixing a stamp to the front and posting the whole package to Les Fisher as soon as possible after the game. It really is that simple!
Further to this, home clubs should note that if they do not include a teamsheet from their opposition and do not explain the absence of the teamsheet to the League Results Secretary, they will be held responsible for the League not receiving it and will be fined accordingly. If the away side do not provide a teamsheet, this should be reported to Les Fisher by the home side, either on the phone when the result is being reported, or by inserting a note in the envelope along with the Referees Card and the Home sides teamsheet. In instances in which the Away side is reported for failing to supply a teamsheet, they will be liable to a fine if the League can confirm, with the referee, that they did not provide one.

6 Registration Dead-Line Date

All clubs are reminded that, under the provisions of League Rule 8(L), no player may be registered with a Club nor transferred to another Club in the League after Wednesday, March 1st , except by special permission of the Management Committee.
