• 21/11/2005 - County Cup 3rd Round Draws

The matches featuring Cheltenham League Clubs in the third round draw for the County Cup competitions are detailed below.

These matches will take place on Saturday, 3rd December, 2005 and will kick off at 2.00 pm. Will all clubs who are playing away to a side who are not members of the Cheltenham League please remember that they are required to ring the result of the match through to Les Fisher before 5.15 pm on the day of the match, even though they are not the home side.

It should be noted that Sherborne Harriers are still engaged in the second round of their Primary Cup tie with Whitecroft A. This match was originally played on November 5th and resulted in a 4-3 win for Whitecroft. However, because of his own late arrival, the Referee only played 40 minutes each way and, as this is contrary to County Cup rules, Sherborne's consequent appeal to the GFA was successful. This meant that the tie was ordered to be replayed last Saturday but this match was abandoned and so the two sides will make their third attempt to settle matters this Saturday, November 26th.
