• 04/10/2005 - Honorary Historian Appointed

Following the plea made at the AGM by the League's Chairman, Gordon Cook, for someone to take up the vacant position of Honorary Historian within the League, two applications were received, both of which have been progressed over the last few months.

Gratifyingly, the League is now pleased to be able to announce that the position has been offered to Linda Wilson, the Secretary of Gaffers FC, who were newly elected to the League in the summer. Linda has now accepted this offer and will take up her post in the near future. She has lots of exciting ideas to pursue that should see the history of the League brought to life and she hopes to make the fruits of her labours available to everyone in the very near future.
