• 14/01/2005 - Cheltenham Clubs Set to host 5 out of 8 County Cup Semi Finals

The draw for the Semi Finals of the 4 County Cups below Senior Amateur Level has handed home ties to 5 clubs from the Cheltenham League

With 8 representatives altogether, and 3 in each of the Intermediate and Minor Cup competitions, two clubs were always going to face away ties but the only side to have been drawn away to a team from outside the Cheltenham League is First Division Gala Wilton, who travel to face Redbrook Rovers of the North Glos League in the Junior Cup. In the Intermediate Cup, the all Cheltenham League Semi Final pits Star FC Reserves at home to Moreton Rangers, whilst in the other game St Marks entertain Stroud League Southside at King George V. Three more Cheltenham League sides are to be found in the last four of the Minor Cup, where Hi-Tec Rangers have been drawn at home to Arlingham, again of the Stroud League, at the same time as Charlton Rovers play host to Woodmancote. In the Primary Cup, our sole survivors are AC Olympia and they have also landed a home match which will see AFC Phoenix as their visitors
