CHELTENHAM ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL LEAGUE
Minutes of the Management Committee Meeting at the Victory Club Cheltenham
on Wednesday 25th August 2004 at 7-00pm

Minutes of the meeting held on Wednesday the 28th July 2004 were read
and accepted.
Matters Arising.
Deposit Account, form required to complete transfer, Lloyds transfer in
progress.
Club Player Debts sent to all clubs: players as listed:- These players
are not available to any club until payments have been paid.

League Handbooks have been sent to listed members of the GFA, and Senior
League.
The Secretary has sent a letter to the Family of Mr Alan Green with the
Leagues condolences.
The Secretary has sent a letter to Tewkesbury Borough Council regarding
M&G Sportsground
The Secretary has sent a letter to Referees Secretary together with Season
Ticket Cheltenham Town. Thank you letter received back.
Letter from The Beeches confirming withdrawal from the League, they would
like to thank all officers, the teams, and management for the past 14years
in the league.
Letter to Beaufort United Secretary and all registered players, the Club
have debts of £80-00 to the league and this amount will be distributed
to all Beaufort players and club secretary the amount of £3.48 per
person. No player will be allowed to be registered to another club until
the player has paid his debt. [5 players have paid
Hearing Charlton Kings:
Charlton Kings was represented by : Mr Don Perry Secretary
Letter from Mr Perry reference the fine imposed at the July Meeting, The
Secretary has replied to that letter advising that 22 days elapsed before
the fine was imposed.
A further letter was sent to Mr Perry advising the club that due to failure
to pay "league Subscriptions, Pitch Hire, Registration Books, Charities
Cup Fees" by the required date 31st July 2004 the club was fined
according to rule. Outstanding payments Invoice 9a £175.74, Invoice
46 £75.00 and the Club suspended.
Mr Perry explained to the meeting why there was a delay in payment, and
apologised to the meeting for the misunderstanding, and the error on his
part, a cheque to cover all outstanding debts was paid in full.
The Management committee accepted Mr Perry's explanation and the suspension
on the club have been lifted. The management committee suggested that
other committee members of Charlton Kings take a more active role.
Correspondence:
GFA: GFA Handbooks being delivered commencing Monday 16th August
GFA: Outstanding Debt to Harrow Hill "Mr N Walding" has 14 days
to pay in full or will be suspended from all Football.
GFA: Sanction received for Rules season 2004/5
GFA: County Cup Fixtures received, there are a few matches on the 4th
Sept, the Secretary will rearrange any League fixtures on that day, and
advise clubs.
GFA: A full list of Individual Suspensions from 01/09/2004 and 01/06/2005
has been received, the Registration Secretary to note.

Referees Secretary: Northleach Town have not paid entrance fee for a six
a side competition. The League secretary has spoken to the secretary of
Northleach Town, who has advised that payment will be sent this week.
Big Yellow Self Storage: Invoice for the next 12 months 3224.85 payment
by 26/08/04.(paid)
Cheltenham & District Sports Association for the Disabled.The Association
thank the Cheltenham League for the generous donation [Charities Cup]
Club Correspondence / Club Information:
Newton Heath AGM minutes received, the league do not require Newton Heath
to send further club minutes.
Mail (registration forms) sent to the secretary from Newton Heath, did
not have the correct postage, the League secretary had to pay an excess
of £1.07, plus 62p to send the mail to the Registration Secretary.
Newton Heath to pay the League £1-67. Treasurer to send an invoice.
Tewkesbury Dynamos: Have experienced problems with the Goal Posts at Tewkesbury
School, and have been advised by referees that they would have problems
playing a league match on the pitch, They have requested another pitch
but have not been allocated one. They request that all home matches are
played at Pamington, they do have a problem, the showers are not working,
but are told that repairs will be completed by the k/o date 4th September.
They have however requested that if the work is not completed permission
to use Tewkesbury School changing rooms / showers, The Management committee
accepted the use of Pamington and will grant the use of Tewkesbury School
if required, but point out that it would only be for a short time.

Winchcombe Town: Clubs are reminded that PARKING is not permitted in MILL
LANE
Kings: Secretary Mr Ben Hill will be away from 10/9 - 20/9 contact Steve
Hall as per handbook.
Fixtures:
Due to pitch unavailability on the 4th September Prestbury Rovers v Charlton
Rovers match has been reversed.
Naunton Park v Shipton Oliffe will now be played at PRESTBURY PLAYING
FIELD on the 8th Sept
Smiths Athletic: have requested (4th August) no Div 4 match on the 23rd
October, agreed match rearranged
Bishops Cleeve: due to clashes with the Hellenic league fixtures on the
13/11, 12/2, 26/3 will be played on the Bishops Cleeve Parish playing
fields, clubs will still change at Kayte Lane. Fixture with Gas Green
has been rearranged.
Rule Offences:
The following Clubs have been fined under Rule 5 (h). Failure to reply
to League Correspondence. Fined £15.00
Cup Draw: Chelt Civil Service, Moreton Rangers, Prestbury Rovers

due 14/8 received 16/8 7 days to pay remaining £10.00 Club Suspended.
The following Clubs have been fined under Rule 14 b Withdrawal "Dynamos
Reserves" in Division Four FINED £50-00.
The following clubs have until the 31st August to supply the league with
GFA AFFILIATION NUMBER. Failure to pay by the above date will result in
clubs being fined as per rule 2e.£5.00 Moreton Rangers, Naunton
Park, Northway, Shipton Oliffe, Tewkesbury Dynamos,
The following clubs have until their first League match to supply the
league with their Clubs Accounts . Failure to pay by the above date will
result in clubs being fined as per rule 2L. £5.00: Andoversford

Web Site: The League is please to report that a League WEB SITE is now
available, there are still a few items to be completed but can be viewed
on www.cheltenhamleague.co.uk The site will have all club details, dates
of meetings, minutes, Links to other clubs, links to County Cups details,
and a link to the FA Full time which has all the fixtures and results.

The Management are very excited on this addition to the league and thank
Nick Oram for all the work he has put in to get this site up and running.
Clubs Meeting September: Suggested items for the agenda were put forward:-
Benevolent Fund, Referees, Web Site, Registrations, Invoice Payments.
All clubs are requested to forward to the General Secretary Peter Jurd
any items that needs addressing, these to be with the secretary 7 days
before the meeting 22nd September. Only items on the agenda will be discussed,
if you have any get the in NOW.
Any Other Business:
Mr Crowther on behalf of the league presented a Glass Salver (as seen
at the AGM) to Mr Ron Lawrence for his services to the league. He was
delighted with the gift and thanked the league for this wonderful surprise.
